In the early 1990s, Mike Byrnes began bringing family and friends together at Fenway Park for one of the best days in sports: Patriots’ Day.
This year, 150 people joined Mike in the bleachers, laughing, cheering, and singing “Sweet Caroline” (the Red Sox 8th inning anthem.)

Beantown at its Best
There is something special about that early 11:10 am start, plus the buzz from the Boston Marathon gives the city a wonderful vibe. Although it was a little chilly when the sun went behind the clouds, the day was still a home run!
A Game Worth Remembering
On the field, the Boston Red Sox delivered a strong Patriots’ Day performance, with a win over the Detroit Tigers. It was a much needed “W.”
Purpose Beyond the Ballpark
What makes this tradition even more impactful is that there is always a charity that is supported. This year’s event also raised over $1,000 for Haiti180, reinforcing a Byrnes Consulting core value of giving back to help those in need.
Watch this sad, but wonderful story about how the mission helped an elderly man be surrounded by love before he left this world.
Why This Tradition Matters
At Byrnes Consulting, relationships are everything. Whether it is helping financial advisors grow their businesses or bringing people together for a day at Fenway, the philosophy is the same: Build friendly, win-win relationships and the rest takes care of itself.
